Jazz-manouche with a touch of Italy

“URBAN GYPSY” – is an ensemble that combines passionate gypsy spirit with jazz rhythms of the 1930–1940-s. Its lineup includes two guitars, violin, double bass, and traditional acoustic string instruments of jazz-manouche. The quality of the live sound, virtuoso improvisations, and stunning vocals by Olga Chernyshova create a special atmosphere of warmth and freedom. Each musician is in love with jazz-manouche, and this love is felt in every chord.

This evening “URBAN GYPSY” will play a special program that includes:

• legendary Italian songs of the 60–90-s;
• melodies from iconic Italian films;
• romantic compositions played on the streets of Rome.
